David C. Freda is an internationally recognized metalsmith, enamelist and jeweler who draws his imagery from the natural world. He currently designs and produces one-of-a-kind gold-and-enamel orchids for Tiffany & Co., New York.
He will present an artist lecture in the Spencer Museum of Art, with a reception to follow, and a two-day workshop in the KU Metalsmithing studio, Room 332, Art & Design building, on the Lawrence campus. Itis free to all guests (KU students, faculty and the community). KU Dining Services will cater the event.(RSVP is needed at jra@ku.edu by November 9, 2009).
