The Provosts Office will hold its annual open meeting in the Big XII Room of the Kansas Union on Monday, May 7, 2012, at 7:00 pm. for departmental and school promotion and tenure committee members, chairpersons, deans, and all interested faculty members, to discuss procedures to be followed in the preparation and review of recommendations for promotion and tenure in 2012-2013. Members of the University Committee on Promotion and Tenure will be available to answer questions. Guidelines for completing promotion and tenure materials, Candidate Documents, and Evaluation Documents (for departments/centers and schools/college/libraries/RGS), etc., will be posted on the Provosts web page under Faculty Development, Promotion and Tenure, after May 1st so that they can be reviewed prior to the meeting. Departmental and school promotion and tenure committee members, chairpersons, deans and all interested faculty members are urged to attend. No additional meeting on promotion and tenure will be held in the fall.
