24th Annual Powwow (Public Event)

First Nation Student Association (FNSA) is hosting the 24th Annual KU Powwow on April 14, 2012 in Robinson Gymnasium. This event represents the one major Native event hosted on our universitys campus, and is attended each year by an estimated 400+ guests from KUs own campus, the Lawrence community, and from outside the region. This event allows an opportunity for the university community and Lawrence community members to interact with and experience Native culture in a means that isnt typically provided during their day-to-day lives. This event is free and open to the campus and community. GOURD DANCING BEGINS AT 5 PM GRAND ENTRY AT 6 PM
