"Toward Sustainability of Energy, Water and Land through a Whole Community Approach" --
Global resource sustainability requires international, national, and regional directives and green technology development. But sustainability begins at the local level. It is important to envision sustainable patterns of resource use in communities in order
to help guide technology and policy. This presentation explores a vision for communities, addressing sustainability of our three most important resources, energy, water, and land. It builds on a concept of the Sustainable or Whole Community as applied to energy and extends that concept to water and land with mutual benefits.
